I've quit even trying to pretend that I don't completely love "The Vampire Diaries."
Yes, it's geared towards high schoolers.
But I don't care.
Plus, I read all the books in middle school, back in the early 90's, waaaaay before the whole "Twilight" insanity.
So there.

So the Vampire Diaries have been around since the 90's? Do you think I would like them? I've seen them, but thought they were just part of the Twilight fad and I liked Twilight a lot, but I did not want to read a bunch of the same thing...
Yes! When I first heard about "Twilight" I was all..."Didn't I read those in 8th grade?" There were three or four books that were published in the early 90's by L.J. Smith. I heard that she's since written some sequels in the past year or so (I'm sure because the vampire trend is a money-maker now), but the original books were really good. I think you'd like them. They're old school cool. ;o)
Tsk, tsk. Shame on you!
But I can't talk. I am secretly into that silly show "Pretty Little Liars" - that's just as bad!
